After being kicked out of Bob Jones University, he actually joined the Army. He, of course, joined the "family business" as soon as he was old enough to sing and play. Mylon was born in Gulfport, Mississippi to Eva Mae and Urias LeFevre, leaders of one of the most storied family groups in Southern Gospel music. ![]() Most importantly, Mylon LeFevre became a soul-winning machine in the 1980s and, from that time to now, has seen hundreds of thousands of people surrender their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. And at each stop along the way, he was always larger than life, with a personal charisma that caused people to sit up and take notice. He's reinvented himself multiple times, going from Southern Gospel royalty.to rock 'n roll rebel.to sold-out Christian rocker.to international evangelist and motorcycle enthusiast.
